Galina Mindlin M.D. Ph.D

Galina Mindlin, M.D., Ph.D is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, and Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Hospital system. She is Supervising Attending Physician in the Department of Psychiatry in St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, Mount Sinai Hospital system.

About
Dr. Mindlin supervises clinical teams, residents, psychology interns, and medical students and regularly presents lectures, seminars, and workshops in a wide variety of venues, including scientific conferences. She consults as a clinician for startups and established companies to enhance their team building in order to improve overall performance. Prior to her current endeavors, she has presented at NASA, in Huston, Texas, and Google in New York City, New York, and has been interviewed by more than 80 various media sources, including Good Morning America and The Today Show.

 

She co-authored the book Your Playlist Can Change Your Life (Sourcebooks, 2012) and a chapter in Introduction to Quantitative EEG and Neurofeedback, 2nd edition. One of her current projects involves the development and implementation of evidence-based technologies, based on an already working/scientifically proven Brain Music algorithm, so it can be widely available to the public.
